Nancy Wo and her daughter Allyson Wo (Ally) introduced the concept of VolunteerAlly to address the challenges faced by volunteers in finding opportunities to contribute to their community. Their inspiration stemmed from Nancy's frustration upon moving to Hawaii and encountering hurdles in the volunteering process. The traditional method involved navigating through phone tag, often leading to dead ends. Nancy's experience highlighted the inefficiencies and obstacles inherent in the volunteering process, prompting her to seek a more streamlined solution. Thus, VolunteerAlly was born.
Our goal is to form a lasting relationship between volunteers and organizations, encouraging volunteers to make volunteerism a part of their everyday lifestyle.
